Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative approves 40 new local scholarship proposals

DENVER, CO, May 26, 2021 - The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) board approved 40 proposals that will provide more than $3 million in scholarships for Colorado students.

The COSI board awarded $3,012,782 to match locally-fundraised scholarship dollars one-to-one during the third and final round of awards for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. This funding will support more than 1,740 students across the state.

DENVER – April 13, 2021:  The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) board approved 15 proposals that will provide more than $1.1 million in scholarships for Colorado students.   
 
The COSI board awarded $1,147,242 to match locally-raised scholarship dollars one-to-one during the second round of awards for 2020-2021. This funding will support more than 720 students across the state.
 

Colorado Commission on Higher Education approves 27 grant projects to continue expanding access and student savings in Colorado

DENVER – Mar. 5, 2021:  The Colorado Commission on Higher Education today approved 27 proposals that provide more than $875,000 in funding for Open Educational Resources (OER) projects throughout the state. OER are high-quality teaching, learning and research resources that permit free or repurposed use and are legally available to students for free or very low-cost.
