June 8th - 25th Annual Celebration of Educational Excellence
- Time: 4-5pm Resource Fair; 5-7pm Celebration and Dinner
- St. Cajetan's Center at the Auraria Campus
- The Colorado Department of Higher Education and the Colorado Department of Human Services are partnering with organizations and community partners to recognize young people involved in foster care or youth services who have graduated from high school, received a GED, or obtained a college degree this year.
June 5th - Educator Financial Aid Training
- Time: 9am-3pm
- Location: Community College of Aurora
- In part of legislation, the training is designed for K-12 educators, school counselors, and professionals involved with the FAFSA/CASFA process. The training will cover FAFSA updates, CASFA training, My Colorado Journey, and more.

May 3rd-5th: CAFAA’s 56th Annual Conference: Full Steam Ahead into the Future of Financial Aid
- Location: The Steamboat Grand in Steamboat Springs, CO
- Outreach will present and table information regarding the department's program initiatives, FAFSA updates, and CASFA training. The Colorado Association of Financial Aid Administrators (CAFAA) is hosting their annual conference for professional development and networking opportunities for the transfer of knowledge and collaboration between Financial Aid administrators, institutions, and service providers across Colorado.
